QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER
E-Times Issue 22 — July to December 2024, Special Bumper Edition
This double issue is led by our move, after 34 years, into a three-storey building at 43 Lorong 21 Geylang, Singapore 388467, used exclusively by E-Tech and large enough for our fleet of 25 vehicles plus a workshop, store, offices and a new showroom, with the Tampines branch continuing as workshop and warehouse. We cover the grand opening on Monday 21 October 2024 at 11.12am, when founder Mr Victor Teo rolled a pineapple into the building and a pair of golden yellow southern lions blessed all three floors. Executive Director Davies Teo opened his third Prakaipetch Muay Thai Academy, a 2,500 square foot unit at ActiveSG Choa Chu Kang Sports Centre, on 1 August 2024, giving the chain outlets in the East, Central and West. We report on the annual staff get-together held at the new headquarters on Saturday 9 November from 5pm to 8pm, where Long Service Awards went to seven staff at the five-year mark and one at ten years, with Accounts Executive Sowmiya named Best Dressed. Other stories cover the joint venture signed on 1 July 2024 to acquire a 40 percent stake in ZAAD Integration Pte Ltd, a building automation and security systems specialist headed by Johnny Tan, the multi-million dollar LTA and MRT contract undertaken with JCI, and the promotion of Ohnmar Kyaw to QS Manager. The issue closes with the third quarter staff birthday celebration for 10 employees.
