E-Times Issue 23 — January to March 2025

This issue opens with a message from the four Executive Directors on the year ahead, following the October move into a three-storey building for E-Tech's sole use and the scaling up of the Directors and Senior Managers team. We report on the third visit by Panasonic Japan since 2022, when Director of the Professional Lighting Business Unit Mr Tatsuya Kumazawa and three colleagues from Osaka came to our Geylang headquarters on Thursday 27 February 2025, met Executive Director Richard Teo and Senior Director Adrian Loo, toured all three floors and viewed the ground floor area earmarked for a Panasonic lighting showroom. Other stories cover the $3.8 million contract from Kandenko Co. Ltd for BMS supply and programming, energy consultancy, chiller and FCU supply and CFU controller installation across 10 buildings at the Institute of Mental Health, and the partnership with Johnson Controls to replace the fire alarm system for a major transportation network, including clean gas and fire protection works for new communication equipment rooms and lift shaft areas. We also cover Chinese New Year hamper deliveries ahead of the 29 January Lunar New Year, and three promotions: Chris Woon to Administrative Director, Steven Ye Lin Htet Aung to Project Manager, and Monette Quiming to Pump Manager cum HR Support Manager. The issue closes with the fourth quarter 2024 and first quarter 2025 staff birthday celebrations.
