The E-Tech Story.
From Three People to 200.
In 1990, three people started a company with a very specific belief: that buildings in Singapore were becoming too complex for the contractors of the time. The market needed something new: a company that could move fast, think end-to-end, and refuse to do anything by half-measure.
That company was E-Tech.
The founders were guided by the thinking of Peter Drucker, the father of modern management, who said that the two fundamental functions of any business are Innovation and Marketing. At a time when most M&E firms were focused on executing what they were told, E-Tech set out to anticipate what clients would need next.
It was the right bet. Singapore's buildings grew taller, more complex, and more demanding. E-Tech grew with them, winning contracts that others said were too difficult, building a team that others said was too specialised, and taking on projects that would become landmarks of Singapore's built environment.
Today, E-Tech is 200+ engineers and specialists strong. We have completed more than 180,000 projects. We serve 1,200+ clients across residential, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
We hold multiple industry awards and are recognised among Singapore's fastest-growing companies. But the belief that started everything in 1990 has not changed one bit.

We engaged the team to replace a faulty compressor for our air-conditioning system at The Sail @Mariana bay. The replacement works were carried out professionally & efficiently.
The technicians completed the dismantling of the faulty compressor, installation of the new compressor, refrigerant gas charging and system testing with good workmanship and attention to detail.

Full-Time Commitment
Our Founder, Victor Teo leaves full-time employment to run E-Tech exclusively. The company enters its first sustained growth phase.
2nd Generation Takes the Helm
Davies, Shirley, and Richard Teo take over the company in their early 20s, bringing renewed energy and a sharper commercial focus that accelerates E-Tech's expansion.

Victor Teo founded E-Tech Building Services in 1990 with a small capital and two workers, built on more than two decades of hands-on M&E experience across Singapore's hospitality and commercial sectors. His belief from day one was simple: buildings in Singapore were becoming too complex for the contractors of the time, and the market needed something better.
What started as a sole proprietorship has grown into one of Singapore's most recognised M&E and building services companies, spanning four service disciplines and a workforce of 200 engineers and specialists. That founding conviction has not changed.
Though he has stepped back from day-to-day operations, Victor remains present in the business — serving as a source of guidance and institutional memory for the leadership team he built.

Davies Teo has spent his entire professional career in E-Tech, working through every level of the business from field operations to the boardroom. A graduate of Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, he further deepened his technical foundation with a Specialist Diploma in M&E from BCA Academy and is a certified Thermographer.
Davies took over leadership of the company in the early 2000s and has since driven E-Tech's transformation from a growing M&E contractor into an award-winning, multi-disciplined building services group. Under his leadership, E-Tech achieved three consecutive years on The Straits Times Fastest Growing Companies ranking, two consecutive Financial Times Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies rankings, and multiple national business awards.
His approach to leadership mirrors the company's approach to its clients: thorough, accountable and focused on the long term.

Richard Teo joined E-Tech in 1997 and has been a central figure in the company's commercial growth ever since. His foundation is deeply technical: he holds a Nitec Certificate in Electrical Power and Machine, a part-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a Green Mark Manager certification from BCA, among a broad portfolio of industry qualifications.
This technical depth gives Richard a distinct edge in business development, allowing him to engage clients and partners at a level of credibility that goes beyond the commercial conversation. He also completed a Certified Quality Technician course through the Singapore Quality Institute and continues to build his credentials in step with the industry.
Richard's long-standing client relationships are a direct reflection of the trust E-Tech has earned through consistent, high-quality delivery across decades of project work.

She holds a Diploma in Business Administration validated by the University of Oxford and began her career in a senior sales coordination role at an American multinational, where she developed the strategic discipline she has since applied to E-Tech's growth.
Shirley has been instrumental in the financial architecture behind E-Tech's sustained expansion and has played a hands-on role in managing the company's governance and HR structures as the business scaled.
She has completed WSQ courses in Human Resources and a QEHS Internal Auditor certification, reinforcing the standards she holds the organisation to across every function she leads.

At E-Tech, Cheryl oversees internal audit and business strategy, applying the analytical rigour and market awareness she developed externally to sharpen the company's operational and strategic performance.
Her role sits at the intersection of governance and growth, ensuring that E-Tech's expansion is both commercially sound and operationally disciplined.

Adrian Loo brings more than 30 years of experience across advertising, public relations, branding, media and investor relations to E-Tech's leadership team. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University and a degree from Central London College majoring in Marketing and Business Management, supplemented by professional training at the International Association of Professional Congress Organizers in Switzerland and the American Press Institute in the United States.
His career has spanned major organisations including Sembawang Corporation and Singapore Press Holdings, with senior communications and brand-building roles across the United States, Europe and Asia.
